Missing your grade school book fair? Join AYA Coffee + Books for a Black History Month pop-up book tour with your favorite coffee in-hand.
Highlighting Black authors and Black stories, AYA is popping up with local coffee shops every Saturday in February. Each stop will feature a shop-related author or story.
Blip’s February 13th pop-up will feature the story of Bessie Stringfield, the first Black woman to travel across America on her motorcycle (a 1928 Indian Scout 101). Find out more about the Motorcycle Queen of Miami and what she rode as a volunteer courier during World War II and pick up a new book 2/13, between 9am and 5pm.
