And don’t forget your yoga mat, if you have one. A few extras will be available just in case. Come with friends, or make new ones. Two years ago on 01/26/16, Blip faced some major adversity after a fire closed the original Cafe and Roasting Facility. Only because of the community effort to move the shop and roasting equipment, was Blip able to reopen in the West Bottoms several months later.
In light of the event, but more importantly in recognition of everyone who helped keep Blip on its feet, join us for a weekend of Pop-Ups and Sales.

AFTER PARTY AT KCK'S OLDEST BIKER BAR! Live music and goodies for the ladies! Join us at Red Eye (6102 State Ave, Kansas City, KS 66102) at 7:00 PM. DUDES WELCOME!
Let’s ride ladies! The first Saturday in May is a full day dedicated to the lady biker. We’ve put together a route for a little over 100 miles of sweet two lane highway with stops and raffle prizes along the way gathered from motorcycle stores around the metro! The ride will last until about 4 PM. Can’t swing the whole day? Come for the first leg of the route anyways. Short, sweet and stops at the Kansas City Museum!
You will need to register, sign a liability waiver, and collect your raffle ticket before the ride starts. Pre-registration will be online here two weeks prior. There is no registration fee, however donations will be accepted and turned over to the Kansas City Museum. The route is a little over 100 miles, 55 mph max two-lane highway and will end around 4:00 PM. There will be an afterparty at Red Eye at 7:00 PM. Each leg of the trip will be approx 30-45 min of riding (approx 3 hours total saddle time plus any stops). Plan accordingly, come fueled up, and be prepared to make a gas stop if you need to. There will be a chase truck so no one is left behind.
BRING CASH! We will start off with coffee and breakfast at Blip. Registration/Food/Coffee starts at 8:00 AM, kickstands up at 9:00 AM. There will be a couple of stops along the route that will have drinks and food available, at your own expense. We will head over to Demo Days at RideNow Powersports once we are done with the route.
If you can’t join us on part or the whole of the ride, good news! The whole day is for the sole purpose to “just ride.” You can meet up at Blip to ride over to the Museum and duck out from there. Or you can meet us at Demo Days at RideNow Powersports at approximately 3 PM. Or you can craft your own day of riding, with girlfriends or alone. JUST RIDE!
Eat bacon, drink bourbon, and get porked at The Pitch's Bacon and Bourbon Festival.
Bacon dishes from local restaurants will be piled high for sampling at The Guild. Paired with bourbon tastings, cold brews and live bluegrass music, we'll call it what it is - hog heaven!
The Pitch knows how to do brunch! Grab a friend and get ready to brunch like you’ve never brunched before!
This will be the only time when you’ll have all your favorite local brunch spots in one place. Get your boozy
breakfast on with a Bloody Mary and Champagne Cocktail Competition. Sip on your faves, and get ready to vote.
This is brunch heaven. A one-stop shop of all your favorites. Enjoy bottomless brunch bite samples of hash,
biscuits, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast and more! Whatever your brunch routine is, we’ve got it
covered. Brunch without booze is just breakfast, so combine it all into a brunch feast to end all feasts.
A portion of the proceeds for this event go to a local charity.
At Party Arty 25 | Imagine, guests will experience an evening of unique and unexpected revelry inspired by avant-garde art.
Much like the Dada* artists, we’re breaking the rules of what you might expect at an art museum. So get ready to Imagine!
Member presale through October 31
*Not sure what Dada is? Dada was an art and literary movement that arose in Europe as a reaction to World War I and the irrational nationalism that many thought had led to the war. Influenced by other avant-garde movements such as Cubism and Futurism, its output was wildly diverse, ranging from performance art to poetry, photography, sculpture, painting and collage. Key artists included Marcel Duchamp and Man Ray.
If you want to get to know a place, get to know the people... This spring Whiskey Grade is setting out in search of the people and places that make up our moto culture: Riders, adventurers, creatives, builders, and dreamers. We are hitting the road with the Whiskey Grade Caravan, an incredible 50-foot trailer that has been converted into a mobile store, and spending quality time with tastemakers and influencers around the country. The tour will be a collaborative, creativity-inspiring experience of meetups, pop-ups, and ride-outs. A social gathering of like minded friends who just need a great excuse to get out there.
"Let the wonder begin and see The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art like you've never seen it before. Party Arty is the most incredible fundraising event for Young Professionals in Kansas City. Hosted by the Young Friends of Art, Party Arty contributes significant funds to the museum each year and provides support for our one-of-a-kind arts education program."
